SEMIC is a smart environment for multi-user interactive collaboration that integrate multiple advanced human-computer interaction technology, such as indoor location tracking, computer vision, speech recognition, handwriting recognition, microphone array, laser pointer interaction, large-screen display interaction. An infrastructure that facilitates real-time capture, storage, processing, display, analyze and record large amount diverse types of information generated in the smart environment will enhance the interaction among the local and remote users.
